In the beginning...

I am not one to share my thoughts and feelings openly as you can see with my lack of facebook posts or that I am like 9 months behind on updating G's baby book.  BUT as the time is a ticking and we are moving further away (and a little nudge from a friend) I thought maybe I should let myself go and use this as a way to share with everyone the going ons of TEAM Green-Beitch!

For those of who don't know let me give you the who what where why and how of it all.

the Beitches of team Green-Beitch
WHO:

Team Green-Beitch is my husband Marc (M), daughter Gabriella (G) and me (R).

WHAT:

After our trip to Europe M and I would daydream about the possibility of moving abroad to work and live.  Well one night back in January (this is how I saw it going down, you will have to ask M for his version) M was doing one of his favorite activities, looking at different software companies websites to see the details and what kind of jobs they have posted.  Well on this particular night he was looking up Spotify and discovered 1. the are Swedish and 2. they have job openings for their office in Stockholm. M:  "R, Spotify is in Stockholm and have job openings. Should I apply?"  Me: "Sure. What do you have to lose?" then I fell asleep.  (What do you have to lose, coincidental became our motto.)

A couple of months later Spotify contacts M to set up a skype interview. Our thought, Sure what do you have to lose.  Then there was another Skype interview, a programming "test" and finally a trip to Stockholm.  All the while our thought was this will never happen, and "what do we have to lose?" WELL...While M was waiting for the plane to taxi at the SeaTac, he got the email. He had been offered a job.  And now we are moving to Stockholm.

SO now I am biting the bullet and trying to write a blog in order to keep people up to date on the adventure.

WHERE:

Seattle, Portland, Atlanta, Spokane, Kennewick and Stockholm...and who knows where really...

WHY:

why the hell not!

HOW:

by plane :)

Ok...til next time...
